What happens to the items in the bag of dead Sim?

As my subject says, what will happen to the items in the bag of a sim when its dead..
Books, gems, relics etc etc.
Should i get them out before they die?

I believe that the items found in a Sim's inventory, if that's what you are thinking of, are passed on to another member of the family when they die. :)

Yes, anything in the deceased Sim's inventory will be transferred to the inventory of the oldest Sim in the household.
