Displaying Film Awards
« on: August 17, 2011, 12:52:18 PM »
Good morning! I did not find a thread on this (but my google-fu may be weak today)

I have a sim in the film industry, and they've received a couple Sim's Choice and Simmy awards.

Anyone have any hints for displaying these? I cannot get them to go on the display pedestals or shelves. I can get 2 on a dresser, the only place it seems I can cluster them is on a coffee table and that just doesn't seem very attractive.

Anyone been able to do anything with these to display them nicely?

Thanks.
Please don't go. The Drones need you. They look up to you.

Have you tried MoveObjects on, are your shelves maybe too low?

MOO won't work Carlos, I don't think, it will most probably place the item in the pedestal and not on it. Same thing with shelves, I think.

Doesn't sound promising but someone will have to test.

No I'm not. Sorry it's 3 AM. I was just implying that someone should test it.

No need I'm doing it now. Which one do you refer to, what box?

You two are a right pair! :P

If you are talking about the cube box with the glass square it does not work to place things on the bottom bit but it does on the top, though it looks rather weird..

I'm doing it too. I mean the 'Nearly Perfect Pedestal' that's found in miscellaneous decorations. And the answer is... absolutely terrible.

I got my results ready.

The Sim's Choice and Simmy Awards can be placed on four pedestals only. All four are from WA, Rory's Display Pedestals, the golden and black ones. Also, the white cube from the misc. decorations section [Nearly-Perfect Pedestal] can be used as a pedestal for these two awards, too.

Have fun with these, Carlos. :P

I didn't ask the original question, so quit complaining about me making you test things. Hehe. ;)
