What is the longest amount of time you have gone without playing the Sims 3?

I go through phases where I can quite happily not play for several weeks then I have weeks where I have to play every day or I end up feeling deprived.
The funny thing is a time when my computer broke and I was unable to play for nearly a month or get online to read the forum I felt as if someone had removed my right arm.

I think the longest was a week. But I had finals that week so I couldn't really play Sims 3. Now, the longest I go without playing it is a couple of hours when I need to take a break.

2 months, between the release of Outdoor Life and Generations.

So far, 3 days. That will become 4 tomorrow. I'm only allowed to play on Fridays and weekends during the school year.

About a week, my son put a virus on my computer and it must go for repair. After that I ban hom from the computer.

I have gone a week without playing, but you don't want to be around me if I go that long without playing.

Recently, it was a week.  I told myself I had things that needed doing more than I needed to play Sims and that Friday could be my "fun" day and I could play then to my heart's content.  In the past, I could go weeks without playing.  Now I find I think about it when I'm not playing so much more than I used to.  I think that's a result of the increased complexity of the game from Sims 1 to Sims 3, or even vanilla Sims 3 to Generations.

For me it was probably when I just got the game. I encountered my first burglar, I got scared to death. I was scarred for about a month and then I couldn't take it anymore I just had to play sims again.

That's really funny. In my first game I think I set the kitchen on fire and had a burglar on the first sim day.

Not for me . It probably made it 100 times worse then it actually was because I was alone in my room at 11 o'clock at night.

Let's just put it this way, it scared me enough that I didn't want to play sims.

Wow, I just realized something, if I don't play sims tomorrow than I break my record for longest time without playing.
Oh, wait, I did 8 days once when I went to Hawaii this summer.

I freaked out when my first family died prematurely so I didn't play for a few months after that.

About 11 years. Before I had the game.
Seriously, probably a week.

When I work during the week, I don't usually play the sims.  On my days off is a different story.  I usually get things done and then play, sometimes I just say to heck with it and play anyway, lol.  While driving here to Las Vegas, I went a total of 7 days without playing, but other than that, usually 4 days during the week I do not play.  When I play, I just can't play for an hour or two, it has to be more like, over 4 hours.  I have to think of something different to do, because it gets kind of boring sometimes, until I come up with something else to do with my sims.
