Raising Unicorns

All the talk about unicorns has weakened my defenses and I've given in.

Meet my new Sims ... Art, Gwen, and their horses, Merlin and Morganna.

And this is where they live.

It's a perfect place to raise unicorns, don't you think?

Anyone care to guess the name of my ranch?

Wow!! How did you make that building? Looks fantastic! :D If it's possible, I'd like to get one. :D
Very hard to be escaped from Sims.

I'll go out on a limb and say Camelot. You've got Art(hur), Gwen(evere), Merlin, and Morganna.

I've really been enjoying watching your ranching exploits!

Ding ding! Yes.

I wonder if EA imagined a barn door being used like this? The gatehouse makes a wonderful place to hide a mailbox and trashcan  ;D

Mary, did you catch season 1 of HBO's new Camelot series? I really enjoyed that a lot.

I thought it was showtime?

Great Castle you got there Mary.  I'm actually envious of your building skills right now.

Lol. We're both wrong. Starz had Camelot and HBO had Game of Thrones.

I've seen a few episodes of Camelot on Starz. Never saw Game of Thrones. I'm more of a Merlin fan. The Starz version is a little too gritty for me; I guess I'm fonder of the more romanticized versions. I'm secretly hoping someone will make a series or movie based on The Ranger's Apprentice series of books (though I'll never admit to having read one  ;) ).

Ricalynn ... I played with blocks and Legos a lot when I was little. LOL

Now that you mention it, this would be a perfect situation to use that Castle Kit I bought from the Sims Store...

Although your keep does look rather nice without it.  ;)

WOW to your building skills Mary.  I never would have thought of that but I love it.

If we're talking series made from books I'd want Pern and it's dragons [Ann McGaffrey],  But I too love Merlin. The new series is another attention grabber.

I've just realised I've been a total silly bean with my newest ranch. When I made the married couple to run it, I purposely gave the female the green thumb trait. Having finished building the jumps and race track I've just realised I've left no room for a garden. Duh! hehehe.   I do love the building, but I don't have Mary's talent for it. Congrats!

There's always room for a garden!  Create a small planting area around the edges of the house where landscaping plants would typically be.  That's what I'm doing with my ranch.  ;)

A castle like that definitely warrants a jousting field, with grandstands for people to watch of course! :)

I love your building skills Mary and your horse ranching exploits in the other thread.  I'm developing my own little ranch but I doubt it'll ever compare to yours!

Pfft ... if it makes you happy it's way good enough. I just have too much time on my hands.

Love the Keep! At first glance I thought you had used the Castle kit from the store. Until someone mentioned that you didn't. I would have guessed but someone seems to have already said Camelot.

Oh and about the books being made to movies I second the nomination of Anne McCaffrey's Dragon Riders of Pern.
