Banana Dreamweaver's Dynasty
« on: October 29, 2011, 12:14:11 AM »

Prologue

Her job had been done. She had served her purpose in her family, and, although they loved each other dearly, each soon parted ways. Our story begins on a crisp autumn morning in Sunset Valley, in the time of Dreamweaver.

The air, as fresh as an apple, brought great change to the household. The family had become perhaps the most famous family yet, but they still lacked something. Banana Dreamweaver and her husband Mario discussed this over breakfast.

"Banana, the family has been successful, Grim has been repelled, and we are now all immortal thanks to Carina and Midnight. Something's wrong. Something changed." said Mario, still digesting his Waffles.

"I know Mario. I think Grim has finally found a way to force us into his cold clutches. I think he intends to cut us off from our Ambrosia and Death Flowers. We are slowly dying. No slower than a mortal, we are dying." replied Banana, enjoying her Autumn Salad.

As if the whole thing had been planned, the Grim Reaper appeared in the middle of their dining room, eyes fixed upon Mario. He drew his scythe, and with one fatal movement, claimed his soul. Then, turning, he looked at Banana.

With all the strength she could muster, Banana ran over to the Dreamweaver Estate. Carina saw her coming and screamed. Banana burst through the door and ran for the Teleporter. She pulled out her most valued possession and drunk it down in one gulp. Visualising the town of Appaloosa Plains, Banana threw herself into the Teleporter and was gone in a few seconds.

It has been a long journey, but Banana is finally here. She had drunken the Young Again potion and is now in Appaloosa Plains, ready to begin. It is the start of Banana Dreamweaver's Dynasty.

Thank you to Pam, who let me use Banana for this Dynasty attempt.

Chapter 1 - Banana and Gavin

"Where... where am I?"

Hello Banana. You are in Appaloosa Plains. This is your Dynasty.

"Who are you? You're not Pam!"

No, I am not. I am Seabody, and I am your controller now.

"What!?"

*sigh* Just go to Gavin's house, Okay?

"Gavin?"

Gavin Pinkerton.

"But I want Mario!"

I can change his name to Mario later.

"Fine. *sniff*"

Off you trot.

Following a brief (several hours long) conversation, Banana worked up the nerve to ask Gavin to Move In.

Gavin: OK. But I want Plastic Surgery!

There isn't Plastic Surgery in The Sims, Gavin.

Gavin: Yes there is! I was a Plastic Surgeon! Look at the hospital!

Okay, but I seriously doubt --  :( Get in the car, then.

After what seemed to be an eternity, I finally got to correct that face of his. Meet the NEW Gavin Pinkerton (with some more changes done, mainly hair and clothes):

Next time: One wedding and a WooHoo!

Wow.  I have to say that, even though I gave permission, it still startled me to see this.  I'm honored that Banana is your choice to start a new dynasty.  She will do well.  Keep an eye on her, though, she can be very sneaky!  ;D

Seabody, I love the humorous start to this story. Are you going for HoF this time?

Of course. The only time I haven't is the Marsden Dynasty. (Wow, I need to update that soon).

Of course. I had forgotten some details in this story (like Mario, for some reason I thought he was Periwinkle's husband), and while looking for them, I came across the part where you mentioned she was secretly swimming.

Nice start!
And good luck with this!

Thanks!

The Dreamweavers seem to be everywhere right now! I'm looking forward to this, particularly their beautiful nooboo (that will have to come soon or I will get angry).

Rest assured, I will play them tomorrow. Gavin isn't married to Banana yet (in a test run, the spouse-to-be rejected Banana every. Single. Time.), so I'd say there'd be a nooboo on Monday, at the latest (NZT).

Great start! Banana looks lovely. I'm so new to the forum, that I am not familiar with the original Dreamweavers (yet), so she's a new acquaintance to me.

I don't currently have an update, as not enough worthwhile things have happened, so here's simply a teaser for what's instore for the next chapter. The chimes have rung. ;)

Oooh... suspenseful! What could those chimes mean?!

I'm interested to see what you name the child and what kind of theme you have.
