Sorry about the loss, that was a fun file. This one looks like it may be able to be even better. I love the crazy house theme so far - well done and good luck!

One question - why the restrictions on who you can move in? I don't have HS and am not familiar with them.

Artie was given restrictions last time to make it more difficult for him as just part of the fun for me and because The Boss said so.  I felt that he needed rules again and so did The Boss.  Restricting his use of townie resources means he couldn't bring in the richest families with their high price cars and he couldn't abuse the one lady for her cooking skill to get all his tier 1 requirements done.   When I originally thought of all this, I didn't know that someone would be moved into the Modern Mansion so when I found out someone had and that they were a female.  Well, I couldn't resist.  Despite her having wonderful traits for a townie, she didn't want anything to do with Artie other than friendship so it's time for plan B!  Why because Artie is evil and the gardening/cooking/fishing isn't going to be done by him.

I love Artie's new house - it is completely over the top in a good way!  Alex hit the nail on the head when she referred to Alice in Wonderland - that's exactly what I thought when I took the tour.

Good luck in finding a new lady love for Artie.  At least he got a cool roommate out of the deal!

5 Steps to Getting a New Roommate By Artie Grim


Step 1:  Be Honest with your future roommate.

Artie: "Well I'm a criminal but I won't be in the lower ranks much longer.  I even got a promotion today. So that means one day I wont get in much trouble because I'll have minions to do everything."
Cassidy: "That's great.  Congratulations."

Step 2: Use astrology as a way to get closer.  Having actual signs that are compatible is a bonus but if they aren't, it's ok to lie about it.

Cassidy: "Actually, I'm a Virgo.  What's yours?"
Artie: "Hey!  We're compatible.  I'm a Pisces."
Cassidy: "Oh really?" -smile-

Step 3:  If you're going to go somewhere, let the other person drive.  It allows them to feel more in control of a fate they can't escape.

Artie: "This is a really nice truck.  It's green like your skin."
Cassidy: "That's very kind of you to notice.  I'm glad you asked me out to the diner."

Step 4:  Always be courteous.   Let them think that you're a shining example of manners and decorum.

Artie: "Here let me get this door for you."
Cassidy: "Actually, How about I get that door for you?  I am athletic you know.  Check out these guns. " -flex-
Artie: "Why thank you, oh so much.  They're very nice." -wink-

Step 5: After a long night of talking about their favorite subjects, like exercise to the athletic, and feeding them, it's best to make your move while they're still lulled by a full stomach.

Artie: "You know I've had so much fun.  How about we do this again?  Like say every night while you live with me?"
Cassidy: "That sounds like a  great idea but what about my roommates?"
Artie: "Bring them along!  The more the merrier."
