Sunset Valley and Unicorns?

Hi there! I have a very simple question.
You see I would like a unicorn and I looked on your guide which is awesome by the way but it didn't say if wither I had to be in appaloosa plains or if I could be anywhere. So i guess what I'm trying to say is... Do i have to be in appaloosa plains or could it be in some other town?

The Unicorn spawns in all towns. I have not played SV since Pets Release but I think the general idea is that they spawn near Fishing Spots. If you see the rainbow mist in Map View then that is where the Unicorn is. I think it's a 40% chance of spawning a night from 8pm to 5am or something. They should spawn in all towns for sure though. I've seen them in Hidden Springs and another World.

yeah you can get unicorns in sunset valley i tryed it and it worked for me i think it just might take awhile

Good guess.  EA tuning default actually has it set to 33%, but that was impressively close.

Well, they don't show up in Bridgeport. Haven't seen one yet.

It took about two game weeks for one to show up for me in AP. I gave up on that file because that's all I was using it for. Then I played my Dynasty and on the first night there it showed up in Hidden Springs.

In my current Sunset Valley game, a unicorn appears in the community lot by the Alto, Landgrabb and Dynasty/Legacy lots once a week or so. It is the small lot in the middle, with the pond and the bridge. (I can't remember it's name )
