Error 16 - Over & over & over...

So I've been playing my immortal dynasty file and everytime I try to save my game I get this Error 16 message. I waited and tried again but it won't go away. Any ideas?

The only thing I can help you with is what Error 16 apparantly is. Judging by the game readme for Pets, this is Error Code 16:

16: Loose file copy failure
