Gems, Metals, etc. from Expansions

I was wondering, for the towns that come with expansion packs, such as Appaloosa Plains from Pets and Twinbrook from Ambitions, will gems and metals from one expansion show up in a town from a different expansion? For example would a World Adventures-specific metal or gem such as mummitomium appear in Twinbrook? What about in Sunset Valley? Any help on this topic would be appreciated!!

WA metals only show up in France china and Egypt I believe.

Normally, the WA metals, gems, etc only show up in the WA worlds.  However, if you have a dog and teach him to hunt, I think he will come back with any metal or gem.  My dog came home with mummitomium once.

Using the miner in Sunset Valley, you can get gems from Late Night, and presumably Ambitions. I think the board breaker gives you access to all gems, WA included.

WA metals turn up at the consignment store every now and then, regardless of which town you are playing in.

I have had all gems come from the board breaker, including LN gems.

I've also gotten "foreign" items from exploring the catacombs in the cemetery, but never found them at the spawn points.
