How do you donate to charity

I keep getting the wish donate to chartity, how do you do that? I am a new user to sims 3 (1 week)

When the sim with the wish clicks the mailbox, there will be an option to donate.

That's true.  But it's worth noting that Evil Sims can also make donations - in their case, they donate "to undermine" the charity in question.

Oh okay I didn't know about that. Do they get a moodlet like when sims donate to charity?

They do get a moodlet and I think it's worth the same number of points as the moodlet that Good Sims get.  It's been a while since I played an Evil Sim so I don't remember what their moodlet is called.
