bunkbed bug?

I am having problems with my bunkbeds. I don't see on here anyone else posting this problem. My sims won't use the bottom bunk. They stand there like there is an obstruction. I tryed deleting the bed, then I can't replace it with anything. It tells me there is something in the way. I have uninstalled the bed and re-downloaded it, it doesn't help. . I hate not being able to use my bunkbeds, Is anyone else having this problem? Is there a bug? Am I all alone here? Help?

Is it a possibility that there is a toy, end table or something else near the bunkbed?  Did you use moveObjects on to place it or anything around it?  Have you recently put art or a light on the wall near the space where they would hop in?

But no. I didn't do any of those things, this is happening in ALL my houses that have bunkbeds. I did try removing everything from the rooms, It didn't help.

I had a similar problem in my game with horse jumps.  My solution was the save my household to the library with their house and then import them into a fresh game.  I was then able to delete the jumps and place new ones that worked.  I also had to replace the jumps on community lots.  I'm not sure if this is the same problem for you, but it sounds like it.

I would also suggest clearing out the DCBackup folder and your cache files as mentioned in some of the stickies.  Just to see if that helps.

I did that. There was a definite inprovement in load time afterwards. I haven't tried the bunkbeds since i did it, I'm actually scared to, I don't want to be that frustrated again. Thank you for your help.
