Random Friendship Gain?

Two of my sims have apparently, completely out of the blue, decided to have an unspoken bond that deepens regardless of the fact that they have interacted a bare handful of times their entire lives, and aren't interacting now. I don't want them to, since this is in my dynasty file.

Allow me to explain in more specific terms: Today, as these two sims began going about their business... They just randomly started gaining friendship. Sim A works in her garden, and gets a little plus sign, even though Sim B is fishing across town. Sim B goes to feed her fish and gets a little happy face, because the two of them are now friends... You get the idea. The two of them haven't interacted much, and still aren't interacting... But no matter how many times I reset them, they keep gaining friendship with one another, just by doing ordinary things.

Any idea of what the heck is going on?

I remember talking about this in a different thread I just can't remember which one it was.  It's a weird glitch or something.  It happened to me in my dynasty between Artie and his wife.  When I cleared out my cache files, it finally went away.   I can't figure out what it is.  Someone said that it was because they were thinking about one another but it never happened with any other sims than just those two so I don't know if that's really what it was.
