Sim glowing red

One of my sims is glowing red from time to time. It only lasts a few seconds at a time, but it has been going on for quite a while. Does anyone know what this is? First I feared a vampire had bitten her without me noticing, but nothing has happened to her except the glowing red thing. It's her on the left on the photo.

The only time I can think of that a Sim glows red is when they are the emperor of evil. I haven't played one of them for a long time so I cannot remember exactly what it looks like.

Ah, but she actually is the emperor of evil! That explains it, thank you   :D I haven't played Sims that long, so I never had an emperor before.

That can be very funny lol! Coward sims scream and run away when they see your sim. But if she quit her job or retire it is gone.
