Unable to Move

I have been trying to move my sim for the 3 days and every time I go to move them, it just gets stuck on the portion where it looks like it's saving, but it doesn't do anything. Please help.  The only way to get this off my screen is that I have to reboot the computer.

Have you tried using Edit Town to move them? Maybe that will work for you?

Also, check to see if this same thing happens in a different game save file or if it only happens in this particular file.
