Stuck Pets

On of my pets keeps getting stuck in between the first floor and the foundation inside the house and outside the house (ex: they will be across the yard and if I move to the foundation floor they disappear). I have tried reset sim and moveobject but to no avail the dog keeps getting stuck in random places! It happened to the other pet but moving her around and reset sim fixed it.
I was just wondering if anyone else had another idea or if I just need to deal with it. :P

Have you tried moving the foundation while the pet is on another lot?
