Omni Plant Feeding

I fed my omni plant deathfish but none grew.  It had an option to re-feed it so I did but still no fish.  How long do they take to grow?  And does it take more than one feeding to make something grow?

It takes 2-3 days.
No need to refeed.

Once you harvest feed it another death fish of the best quality.  You can make a small fortune that way or have more than enough death fish to last an entire legacy.  Every so often you have to let them rest though.  At that point fertilize them once and just keep them weeded and keep checking for when it says you can feed it again.
