Magic?

Hi, I am new to the forum and a HUGE fan of Sims. I just updated my games with pets and Generations loving them both the more I play but I was wondering about the magic. I have been trying to find the magic stand I have seen in some photos but can't find it in the game anywhere or is it something I will need to buy from the site itself?

Are you talking about the Magic book? It comes from the EA store with the Gothic library.

There might be a book, I honestly have no idea. But what I saw was a podium I believe it is called that they practice magic on. If there is a book this is the first time hearing about that.

What you are describing is what MoMoll said, it is premium content available from the online Sims 3 Store here.  You can purchase it on it's own or with the Gothique Library.
