Treadmill Issue

I have a corrupt save.  I had to reset a couple sims and now i have a treadmill running and won't stop.  Says one of my characters is on it but they are not.  What do I do.  Have saved 3 times now so back up is corrupt as well.

Have you tried to just deleting the treatmill and then buying a new one?

Open up cheats control+shift+C
Type "testingcheatsenabled true" (without quotes)
Hit enter
Shift click treadmill
Click object
Click delete it.
