Can In uninstall Late Night and still keep my celebrity family?

I've become so tiered of all my sims becoming celebrities, to the point that I'm ready to uninstall LN all together. However, I still want to keep playing the same family that I'm currently playing. Is that possible? I think all of the family members have at least one star each. Will the stars just disappear, or will I not be able to play the same game file if I uninstall LN?

From my own experience you will not be able to play the same game file; it will simply no longer show up in the selection screen even though you put it into the correct folder.

If you take out your "saves" folder before you uninstall you can put that file back in your Sims 3 folder after your reinstall. I'm not sure if it keeps your stars though.

I've been away from the forum for a while, but just wanted to thank you for your suggestions! I will try removing the saves file before uninstalling LN and see what happens!

When I downloaded Max Skills without having installed Late Night, he appeared in my game as a five star celebrity. Though, he didn't get the benefits like gifts etc, or the drawbacks like paparazzi and being falsely accused. He did have those stars, though.
