Sparkly Starburst thingy on relationship panel.

Hello,
I've had a look through the forum and I couldn't find anything on this topic!
After my Sim had done a vaccination clinc at the graveyard, I checked her relationship panel to see how many people she had met.

There was a person on there, I can't remember his name, but it definitely began with B, and behind the little symbol saying that he was a stranger, there was what I can only describe as a white sparkly starburst thing!

She hadn't met this Sim ever, I know this because he was a good looking one and I definitely would have tried to get my sim to flirt with him!

Anyone have ideas what the sparkly starburst thingy means and why this man just appeared in her relationships?!

Hi Jess and welcome to the forum.

Your starburst thing - was it a sort of swirling pattern with purple and white in it behind the Sim's picture? If so, he's a vampire.

The white startburst means there's been a change in relationship. It happens if a sim goes from stranger to acquaintance or acquaintance to friend, good friend, best fried, etc.

I only know of one way a stranger appears in the relationship panel, and that's when you ask if a sim is single. If he/she is not single, their partner will show in your relationship panel as a stranger. I'm sure there are other ways, but that's the only one I know.

Seabody's right, too. But I thought you meant the starburst behind the little sim symbol indicating the relationship status.

I don't think he can be a vampire because I haven't got Late Night!

I must have just looked at it when he appeared.
