Usually when my sims rummage or reconstruct hunting finds, they are full priced value. Now, however, they are fully depreciated. Why? What causes/caused the change? Eg The diamond dog is only worth 600.

Is one of your Sims in the architect career? Architects have a discount on the buy catalog, that could explain you see objects at lower price & value than usual.
