Romantic Reputation/Accuse of Cheating

Yesterday I was playing my dynasty file and Adlais (gen 6) and Wade (her husband) started flirting with one another. All fine. I then get a message pop up saying "Other sims around town are noticing Adlais and Wade, maybe they should tone it down before someone gets hurt". Since then every time they've interacted this message has popped up, and Adlais has started randomly accusing Wade of cheating. Both of them have only ever had the one relationship and neither have any other romantic interests.

I'm not too worried about the message, but is there any way I can get Addy to stop accusing Wade of cheating? He's 85 and I'd like his last days to be without his wife falsly accusing him of stuff!

The game can be weird at times about relationships. Did either as another about thier sign or flirt? I've been seeing that sometimes this resonates in the game as "being interested" and can cause problems later.
The relationships in the game are difficult to understand. I think EA is trying to throw barriers for us to get around. Loving sims, who cheat. Newly married who want to "break up".
Hope for your sake it stops!

Nope. Wade's never had a wish to and although Addy had a couple of wishes to flirt during her mid-life crisis they were ignored. It's been going on for about two weeks game time now and Wade's actually spent most of those in the house.

It's weird, because I never had half this many problems when gen 5's spouse did play around!
