How many generations have you had in the Sims? Of course, you couldn't get more than two in the sims. But what about the other games?
I've gotten... er three in the sims 2 (give me a break, I was nine when I started playing!
) And I'm up to five in the Sims 3
(Give me a break, I'm twelve now!
)
[Edit: I changed the subject of the topic to be a little more specific. -Pam]

I've gotten up to 8 in Sims 3. Then my neighborhood crashed and I had to start over. *le sigh*

I got at least to the 12th generation, possibly 13th. I don't have the file anymore because I reinstalled the game and didn't put the file back into the fresh install.

Oh. Thanks Pam! I'll remember that in the future
[Edit: Great, thank you! The idea is to have the subjects be as specific as possible so that when people are browsing through the Forum, they'll have a good idea of exactly what's being discussed in a topic so they can find things that interest them. -Pam]

my 6th generation are kids at the moment. i usually have 8 sims in the household though, 2 couples with kids and the odd aunt/uncle often, so it's a little slow going sometimes. but i love collecting everything from past generations. i miss memories from sims2.

In my oldest save, I think I got down to 4 generations. But keep in mind that with my abuse of ambrosia each of those generations lived for several 'real' generations outside in the neighbourhood.

I think I have gotten to four generations, but, until the challenge on legacies, never really thought about it, so now I have a couple of games that I am trying for more generations, makes it more interesting. Wow Pam, that is great.
