saves folders?

Okay, so everybody has this file on there game, but at the moment I have no saved game on the sims 3. The folder is taking up MB's and I'm wondering what would happen if I deleted everything in the 'saves' folder? Are these just back-up files for games?

If they have .sims3.backup on the end then they are just backups.

But don't delete the folder. When you do save a game, that is where it will go.

When I decide I want to try a new game nd don't want to keep the old one, I delete it from the save folder. Howevcer, do NOT delete the SAVE folder itself. You can open it and delete the games, and their backups if you want.

I delete regularly, I also move save files to an archives folder outside of Sims 3 in order to keep them for whatever reason, but not have them show up in my play list. The only folders I have under Saves are my current active games and their backups.

You can delete the files or the folder with no problem. Even if you delete the folder the game will remake it the next time you run it.
