Sim caught on fire while singing to a sim
« on: March 13, 2012, 08:24:52 AM »
Could be Vita's Alto bad character, but my sim actually died after being set in fire. I have no idea how but (nor why) but because he was performing a Showtime action I decided to post it here.
My sim has the Immune To Fire hidden trait, actually. Maybe that trait got burned up as well? :(

Do you think it will help if a sim carries shower in a can?

Great idea! I do have World Adventures but I don't know how others could help this who don't have this expansion. Let's hope there Is a shower nearby. And save often.

My sim almost burned to ashes, but you need to make sure you have "testingcheatsenabled true" on. Ctrl click the "On Fire!" moodlet and the fire is gone! If desired, Ctrl click the "Signed" moodlet.

I tend to have loud opinions. So sorry. I got tons of issues, lol. I can also be found on Yahoo! Answers.

I get rid of bad moodlets with that all the time, but I didn't think Leto is such a big cheeter as me lol!

Not ingame no. :P

But I've changed my mind on this one. If my sims life is depending on it, the choice is rather easy.

Vita has the evil trait doesn't she ? Maybe she didn't like the singing.

Without kidding, that crossed my mind too. But I doubt if this is it, as my sim caught on fire multiple times after that. Glad it was at the gym, with two good showers nearby.

Your sim has caught on fire MULTIPLE TIMES, just from singing?  That's really weird.  Why would they make the game do that?

I have a sim in the Singer career who's currently Level 8, and she's never caught on fire.  Now you're making me scared for her!  What traits does your sim have?  What level in the career is s/he?  Does this sim catch on fire only during some singing activities or during all of them (sing-a-grams, playing for tips, performing a gig)?

I am thinking it is the machine the sim uses while playing for another sim that will occacionally caught on fire. Why and when I don't know, but I doubt it is trait related. He was at level 8 or so I guess, though it also happend earlier in his career.

I just used the "reset sim name name" command and put him home and he had a shower.  Missed that sing-a-gram...
