Purple Days on Work Tab

So you know on the work tab if the sim is employed than all the days they work are blue and the ones they have off are faded/grey? Well one of my sims is a superstar in the sports career and 2 of his days are purple. What does that mean?

Are his game days still marked as blue or is it the purple ones that are actually game days.  I think game days are Wednesday and Saturday normally.

They are days when they have a Game to play, you won't be able to get promoted on that day but if you win that game then it adds a positive to your Match Score Req on his Job Bar.  :)
