Can parrots mimic phone rings ?

Because my sims keep getting "react to phone ring" in their queue alot of times but i never heard a phonering.
I have removed all the wall/desk phones and even silenced all their mobiles but still getting it.

But then i remembered i put a parrot in the birdcage. Can birds do stuff like that else i think captain peacock playing tricks on my sims

Yes this is a big bird interaction.  I think I only started noticing it after I taught my bird to talk a little bit but they will do it randomly.  Especially if you haven't played with the bird in a while.

I've never taught a bird to talk and all mine have done it.  I find it super annoying.  I'm pretty sure the sim doesn't react unless they're in the same room with the bird, so my sims' homes always have a bird room on top of everything else.

Mine's never done it I don't think. Do big birds or small birds do it?

Large birds.  Maybe only certain kinds of birds, too.  I had three do it that were all parrots or cockatoos.  I've never heard a bird like a crow or a hawk do it.

lol that is sooo funny! My real life cockatiels do it all the time! Luckily they are not good enough for me to think it is actually the phone while I'm in the house. If I spent much time outside though, they might get me!
