So let me explain what happened. I am in the middle of my Careers Challenge and my keyboard fell off the desk and somehow when it hit the floor something messed up in my game where all the options and everything on the bottom disappears so I can't see any of the sims or needs or anything. I need to know how to either fix this problem or know how to save with the keyboard. I know that I have done it before where I exited out of the game and when I went back all the options and such on the bottom came back but at this point I don't remember how I did that and I can't exit without saving as that is against the rules for the challenge. So help please!

Try pressing the Tab key. Tab toggles the user interface on and off.

I tried it just now and it only makes my mouse pointer disappear so when I move the moves it moves the view. I don't know how to fix this and I can't find anything on the Sims 3 website to help either. Any other suggestions?

Gotta get the kids in bed so I will leave it up and try to fix it in the morning!

Press Q to quit the game and it will ask if you want to save.  I hope this works!  If it doesn't, you can go ahead and end the program without damaging your challenge.  It's a technical difficulty out of your control, so I'm sure Metro will allow it.

Maybe you should glue your keyboard to the desk or use a laptop! Haha, just kidding! I am glad you fixed it!
