That's a good way to show public show of affections. I kinda like it :)

...Bye, Jon. It's nice knowing you. Nah, I bet that you'll revive him until the legacy is over ::)

@ arimau, No, Jon is now dead, there is no reviving him according to legacy rules.  :'( lol @ u regarding public displays of affection, I was just teasing   :)

@ Shewolf, It was a wedding and then some. I could hardly keep up with everything that kept happening!

@ LenaLJ, yep, quite a wedding.

Oh Playalot..  :'( :'( :'( I knew he had to go some time... at least it was a natural old age death.. right?? *crossing fingers* hehehe.  The wedding was beautiful and all those photos you took really captured every moment. I'm going to miss Jon so much!!  *rushing back to read from the beginning from when Jon was a wee boy himself*

@ KTK10, yep Jon died of old age. I actually cried! Like real tears... over a game! sheesh! I had to pause it and go chill some before I could finish the death scene. Today I'm playing Kaiden alone in another save file, with aging OFF lol. I just couldn't face the Fox house without Jon.
I'm just mucking around building and such. I'll get back to the legacy tomorrow and get some more updates. After all there's nooboos and kiddies to take care of, not to mention a all out battle for the next heir! Whew!

Thanks for sticking with the story!  :)

Trying to catch up on stories here. So much has happened in your story during the fortnight I have been away from the forum. You really do justice to your name, playalot ;) . And I am amazed that you can keep up the awesome standard of your writing and photos, too.

I won't even try to comment on everything that has happened to the Foxes with the deaths, parties, loves and heartbreaks etc so I just say that I am loving your family so much.

@ arimau, I have Jon in another save file but it's not the same. <sigh> I'm too sentimental I think.  :-[

@ Tipi, thanks! I think I may have chosen my avatars name well lol! I'm looking forward to seeing what happens next in your story too. Every time there's a new comment I check just in case it's an update! lol  :)

@ MrVoncreep, yeah <shrugs> it was a bit of a surprise how emotionally invested I had become in my little digital people. There are some sims that my hands just itch to get to killing... but Jon was not one of them. I swear that if a certain little miss keeps having a ball and chain thought bubble about my next favourite sim that she might find herself tied to a post in the middle of a bonfire though.  >:(  <crosses arms and looks pointedly @ Kennedy>

@ Brooke, I know, it was one heck of a wedding day.  :-\

Chapter 70: Getting Back On Track

The next morning I headed out into the garden. I still had some fish that Uncle Jon had caught and I wanted to use them for fertilizing the blackberries. A sort of quiet time for me to remember all the trips we'd been on together and all the adventures we'd had. I decided that I'd keep the tradition going and take my nooboo out on trips too. It seemed a fitting thing to do in memory Of Uncle Jon.

As I came in for breakfast Winston and Leah were chatting. I could see just how much he loved Leah by the way he was looking at her.

Winston chatted to dad about the joys of parenthood.

No wonder he was enthralled. Just look at my wee niece, she's a darling.

Leah is a genius, just like Cara but she wants to be a rambunctious scamp. It's a tricky one but she's pretty determined.

She asked Kennedy to help her with her homework.

Kennedy got a bit carried away so Leah just waited politely and then explained that she'd finished now so Aunty Kennedy could stop mentoring her now.

Kennedy's been reading a lot. I mean, a lot! Every time I look at her she's reading.

I asked her about it over lunch. Kennedy explained that she was now working towards becoming a nerd because someone had to take over all the repairs and now that Uncle Jon was gone there was no-one who could do it instantly. So she wanted to learn how.

The thought of my girl being near dangerous electricity threw me in a bit of a panic. So I decided I better skill up fast. Argg, it's not as easy as it looks.

O.K. that's a bit better.

A bit of sandpapering, get the head sort of rounded...

Oh yeah. It's totally looking like an elephant now.

Just that bit... there. Needs a bit more work.

Ah Ha!

Mmm Mhh!

That's got it. Elephant perfecto.

Just a tweak here.

And voila! A perfect ele... horse.

I thought I'd go check on Leah. I hadn't heard her for a while. She seemed happy enough.

Kennedy was still reading.

So I thought I'd head out for a jog. I'm working on being the best physically that I can be so that I can enjoy a long life now that I'm about to be a daddy.

It seems being goody-goody is boring Big Sis. We need more Cara! We want more drama! We want more random things! Nanana, I want to start a fight, lol.

@ arimau, shhhh, everyone was still grieving and so couldn't have fun even if they wanted too. Besides... Cara was busy.  ;)
