@Tigerskin I've started using this lot for this year's tournament, whenever a sim couple is involved.
Because it has so few passers-by, it hasn't worked for me for single-sim tournament challenges.
Anyway, so I've been playing around with short-term skill rooms and the first stage of the house (two rooms + toilet/bath/shower room) shows my preferred format.
I was feeling sad about Aya's platinum-blonde hair until I read your comment. I love it now, too (thank you! so much!) and will keep it even if it doesn't change as a teen.
@HelenP Thank you for the nice words! I tend to only build skilling arenas, but this challenge has been short enough to try something new.
The most stunning aspect of the house, though, is its location between the ocean and forest! Also, I've missed you in the tournament this year.
@Nettlejuice You're so right! I was initially shocked at the platinum-blonde hair and briefly considered looking for cc lavender child hair. I was saved by
@Tigerskin's comment.
About her second pregnancy, at the end of the previous chapter, the couple were whispering about something in their pjs and she had a small baby bump.
And yes, the clubs and Rally the Troops make a skillfest so much easier! A house's most important living areas have become those that fulfill fun and hygiene.
I've also learned that, for me, starting small is better. I tried to build a similar version of this house on the Villareals lot after my IDC, but the lot was too large and I gave up.
@Shewolf13 I'm glad you like the open-air first floor. The Pier Palace location really lends itself to this build because of its fantastic scenery! Only the bathrooms (and basement) have ceilings.
I'm also besotted with the kids. Lol, I secretly want to have more kids with this couple, but that would destroy the challenge. Maybe another time.
