Quinn:  Well, your husband is a lucky and immensely handsome man, young lady.
Susie:  Indeed, but since he's not here, I guess you'll have to do.
Hahahaha!!!

Once you've finished enthralling us with your DecaDynasty, please pick Bradan for your next challenge! Please!!!

@KRae  When you mention volunteering at the school, I hope you are talking about Sims and not real life.  ::)

At Bradan's swimwear party, I spent some time looking at the blond guy gazing at the barkeep/Susie and wondering what his thought bubble expressed.

If you want to keep Liddell's options open, does that mean you are going to share with us your exploration of the local talent?
Your dialogue is always so witty--love it!

Well,  actually, I plan for my next project to be founded by an heir or spare from this dynasty, so that rules out Bradan, unfortunately.
That blonde guy is Susie's brother, Mason, and I think he was just recognizing that it was his sister.
Thanks for the kind words on my dialogue  :=)  It's really fun to write such silly nonsense and I'm glad others actually enjoy it!

@oshizu , I did volunteer at my kids' school all the time - talent shows, building haunted house, helping kids who had trouble with reading. I just didn't scope out spouses. My kids are 41 and 33 and never married...hmm.
See?  The Sims help teach us great lessons about choosing spouses for our kids  ;=)

The Flanagan Decadynasty--Normal Teen Life
« Reply #46 on: June 28, 2016, 11:03:15 AM »

And in a faraway land full of magic and dragons, "normal" is a very unique concept.
Pippin:  Just another normal day for the Flanagans.

Susie:  Yeah, this happens more often than you'd think.
Pippin:  But the reason these embarrassingly affectionate parents were outside of the school was for the ballet recital.

Liddell:  So, was this really just an excuse to show off this outfit?
Pippin:  ...maybe...?  However, it's important because the time to show off childhood outfits is extremely limited.

Liddell:  Look.  Cake.
Susie:  My baby's getting all grown up!
Quinn:  Strange coincidence, so is mine!
Pippin:  And, insert embarrassing transition photo here...

Liddell:  Gee, thanks, Pippin.  Maybe I could stop having my Mom's hairstyle?
Quinn:  And become more fashionable?
Liddell:  Nice support there, Dad.
Pippin:  And off to the dresser and mirror she goes!

Liddell:  That's more like it!
Pippin:  And so, Liddell begins doing normal teen things, like being grossed out by her parents.

Liddell:  Ewww!!!  That is NOT what I meant when I asked for help studying chemistry!
Pippin:  And other normal teen things like practicing magic.

Susie:  No, dear, it's more of a flick of the wrist, not a karate chop.
Liddell:  But it makes such big, cool sparks this way!
Pippin:  And other normal teen things like following strangers into the bathroom to strike up conversations.

Liddell:  Hi, Zoe!  Let's be best friends so I can meet dynasty requirements!
Zoe:  Umm, if I say yes, will you leave me in peace?
Liddell:  Well, it makes it more likely than if you say no!
Pippin:  And other normal teen things like inspecting the genetics of her classmates to decide what would be best to show up for nine more generations.

Liddell:  Hmmm, not bad.  Like the hair color...

Liddell:  And he and his brother look like Nightcrawler from the X-Men!
Pippin:  And other normal teen things like finding and chatting with dragon eggs.

Liddell:  Hello, little not-a-dragon-yet!  You kind of look like a brussel sprout right now.  I think we should be friends.  Can you be purple, please?  That would go with my outfit.

Liddell:  Oooooooo, pretty!  I think I'll all you Dinah.
Dinah:  Well, I'm a guy...
Liddell:  Dinah it is!  Glad you love it!
Dinah:  ...okay...
Pippin:  And other normal teen things like making besties while her mom rubs a werewolf's belly.

Pippin:  And other normal teen things like hunting zombies during a full moon.

Zombie:  BRRAAAAAIIIIINNNNNSSSSSS!!!
Liddell:  Yes, I do have brains, and I know how to use them.

Liddell:  And the fire blast spell.  I know how to use that too.
Pippin:  Yep, just a normal teenage life for our heiress.

Normal teen life indeed! Lidell is gorgeous! And Welcome to Dinah the boy dragon!

Susie catching Quinn and holding him up in the "Leap into Arms" interaction is absolutely priceless. Susie must have had her spinach that day. Also, I'm loving the classy "rub belly" on werewolves. Susie knows how to make friends.
Granted, I think belly rubs are the best on everyone, and not just werewolves.

Awesome update. Lidelle looks more beautiful as a teen. Going after Zoe for completing her best friends requirement was funny. Poor Zoe. And what a great way to test her witch skill, fire blasting a zombie. Looking forward for next update.

Belly rubs on the werewolf Sims always crack me up!
Dinah the boy dragon is a fun little sidekick for Liddell and gives her someone else to interact with while she tries really hard to avoid learning skills as a teen  :=)

I wasn't actually going for a Cheshire Cat look, but I'll take the compliment  :=)  I'm making a deliberate effort to work more with patterns and such in wardrobes to follow along the fashion trend set forth by Quinn.

Liddell is the protector of Dragon Valley, saving them from the zombie apocalypse!  Well, not really, but it was a pretty fun excuse to cast a fire blast spell!
Glad you're enjoying the story!

Oddly, Susie never pops the wish to leap into Quinn's arms, but Quinn wishes to leap into Susie's arms about once a week at least.
Yep, more Alice references  :=)

Awww, I missed Pippin's "Answering of the Questions" post!

Liddell is so lovely. What a great move to continue with Quinn's fashion style of mixed patterns! Love her outfit with matching dragon, of course.

Haha, the "studying chemistry" crack is what I now consider to be classic Pippin.

What an extraordinary life for an extraordinary teenager! And I'm happy to see Susie and Quinn still so much in love!

Classic Pippin?  Interesting.  I had no idea I'd become classic.  Thanks!
I always love when my Sim couples actually have wishes for each other and spontaneous affection.  On a couple of my challenges or dynasty attempts, I've just picked the Sims I wanted and they either didn't really wish for each other or spontaneously show affection much or it was reall one-sided.  These two are adorably loving.  I hope Liddell can find that...

The Flanagan Decadynasty--The Other Fellow(s)
« Reply #54 on: June 30, 2016, 01:11:51 PM »

With his lifetime wish achieved and a dynasty off to a grand start, there was only one thing left that Quinn Flanagan wanted to accomplish.

Quinn:  What can I say?  I'm a simple man with simple needs.
Susie:  You may be the neediest man I've ever met!
Quinn:  I take that as a compliment, my dear.
Pippin:  And Quinn's dear wife was taking care of making sure Dragon Valley's genetics were preserved.

Susie:  So, Sean, are you familiar with the term, "pollinator?"

Susie:  Ossian, my friend!  Have I got a great job for you!

Susie:  Have you two met?  No?  Okay, I'll just leave you to get acquainted.

Ossian:  Have you been in our theater?  I'll bet I could take you on a tour of it three times.
Sophie:  That sounds lovely!
Pippin:  And three tours later...

Sophie:  That was great!  Call me?
Ossian:  Sure thing!
Pippin:  And Sean met up with a beautiful young lady as well...

Ava:  Hi, honey.  So, why did you move out?
Sean:  Because I love you so much!
Ava:  Oh.  Okay.
Sean:  Wanna tour the theater three times?
Ava:  Sure!

Pippin:  And in case you're wondering about our heiress, she got arrested for going to school!

Liddell:  Seriously, I was just going to school early so I could watch potential spouses show up.
Officer Anonymous:  Tell it to the judge!
Pippin:  And Sean continues to do his part for the dynasty as well.

Sean:  Hey, Siobhan.  Since we work together and all, I thought we should get to know each other better.
Siobhan:  Oh, that makes sense.
Pippin:  And they got to know each other very well.

Sean:  Wow!  Three times in a bed is way better than three tours of the theater!  Right, Siobhan?

Sean:  Siobhan?
Pippin:  And Ossian had his eyes on one more lovely lady...

Pippin:  But another fellow came for her first.

Ossian:  Really, bro?
Grim:  Oh...uh....sorry.  Kinda got a schedule to keep...so...yeah.

Yeah, Grim rained on my parade as Nuala (I think was her name) was quite lovely.

What was the cause of death?
As ridiculous as it sounds, she was dehydrated (as she was a mermaid), but she collapsed between two single beds and Ossian couldn't get to her to dump a bucket of water on her.

Yep.  "Routing issues" was the cause of death.
