Can A Physical Copy of The Sims 4 Be Played With Digital Packs?

Hello. I've never really thought of buying any game or stuff packs for The Sims 4 until recently when it was announced that we would be getting vampires. The problem is that I purchase all my expansion packs physically, so I have a CD, and I'm not sure if the physical expansion packs are compatible with digitally downloaded game packs. Will I be able to play them together with no compatibility issues?

I would think so. As all of Sims 4 goes through Origin these days.

I can confirm that I have a physical copy of the base game and get to work and digital copies of everything else with no problem. As Mrs Flynn says it all has to be installed in Origin anyway.
