Age of Sims?

hello everybody,

it's been a while since I've been on this site, and I hope everyone is doing ok. I am curious about the age of sims. what I mean is, right now I'm playing my sim self and I want to bring in a sim who is not in the neighborhood for them to have a relationship. so will that mean my sim self will be older than the person I add to my game who is sitting in my bin that I am thinking of adding to the game?  thanks for any answers!

It depends on if you've played with aging off while playing your Simself. 

If aging off then any other Sim you add to your save should be somewhat of the same age range. Give or take as the game does add a random age number for the lack of a better term. For example, the age of a Sim I added to my game was 52 days til Adult.

actually, i never play with aging off, so I guess my simself will be the older woman,(cougar) lol, if I add a sim from my bin so they can at least become friends.

You're welcome!!

If you want a Sim to be the same age range as your Simself. Create one via Create A Sim (CAS) to be in the same age range.

will do! but can i also at the start of my game just add the person i want her to meet? won't they both be young adults of the same age?

Yes, you can start a save and add the Sim you want your Simself to meet. They'll be roughly the same age.
