Sims 3: Do unplayed Sims keep their Lifetime Happiness Points?

Do unplayed Sims keep their Lifetime Happiness Points? What about Lifetime Rewards? Also, can unplayed Sims complete their Lifetime Wish?

By default, they'll get to keep any happiness points they gain while actively playing them. They won't complete their LTW if not playing them.
