I'm gonna miss having a cute little toddler for a brother, I think.

Brynden aged up into a genius bookworm who is also a couch potato. I think those things go pretty well together.

Dad rolled a wish to send Brynden to Smuggsworth Prep School. Brynden initially seemed pretty excited about it. I explained to him that he'd have to make his home there, in the dorms, and he said he could do that, no problemo.

Well, off he went a few days before our prom. Cersei and I didn't have dates. We thought it'd be fun to both go solo and hang out for most of the night. We even got semi-matching dresses.

Well, Cersei for one had just a FANTASTIC time. She got crowned prom queen and hit on by this guy Bart, who I think she had a crush on anyway. He asked her out on a date for later in the week.
I, however, got rejected for a dance, got into a fight, and overall felt horrible by the end of the night. It's just not fair. I'm just as pretty as Cersei and am naturally flirty besides. I don't understand why none of the boys wanted to dance with me. I felt pretty bummed when I got home and stared at myself in the mirror for a while trying to figure out what I'd done wrong.

Gran sent me to bed, saying it's just silly teen boys and it'll be better when I'm older. But I can't help just being a little bit jealous of Cersei and her perfect high school life.

Well, when we woke up the next morning, the adults had news for us. They'd won a two day trip to Bridgeport and were leaving us in charge of the house while they were gone. Cersei shrugged this off like it was nothing, but I knew exactly what to do. This was an opportunity to party! I immediately called around and scheduled a get together for after school on Friday night.
We had a little surprise right before the party. Brynden called ME, not Mom or Daddy, and asked if he could pleeeease come home. He HATED Smuggsworth. Well, what was I supposed to do? Leave him there to suffer. I said sure, come on back, and he did. He told me how awful and dramatic it had been there and then went up to sleep.

The party was - in a word - epic. I ordered pizza and forgot about it again, so Cersei did her thing. That's our cousin Lysa in the back there. She has the coolest bathing suit I've ever seen.

We ate pizza and danced and swam in the pool and relaxed in the hot tub. It. was. incredible.

Toward the end of the night, I was taking a relaxing soak while that guy Bart hit on our cousin instead of Cersei, and I failed to notice that we had a party crasher.

Turns out she's friends with Gran. She called our parents and ratted us out. It was pretty bad. They drove back from Bridgeport in like .2 seconds.

Mom yelled at Cersei, even though she knows Cersei wasn't the "ringleader."

And Gran gave it to me. We're both grounded for a while.

Is it awful that I think it was kind of worth it? Anyway, Daddy is an evil genius, so I think he kind of approved. I waited a day and then cornered him before breakfast to ask him to let us off the hook. You can see Brynden in the background there rolling his eyes at how obvious he thinks I am.

So we were free! Cersei was able to go on her date with that guy Bart (even though he was obviously hitting on Lysa). This is him:

I was relieved to hear she got bored fo him pretty quick and spent the rest of their date at the bubble bar. She says her favorite flavor is banana and the best part of the date was the part where Bart wasn't there.
