That nose always looks heavily lined on teens and children. He's still pretty adorable. Frances looks oddly put-together for a randomly generated Sim.

Remember that girl Frances that appeared to have a home?

Well, turns out she was a newspaper delivery girl. Don't ask how, because I definitely watched her walk into an occupied home and it didn't say newspaper girl until I next saw her as a teen. The house she went to has a different last name than hers and her "household" when you invite a household over is all those good ol' service people. Oh well, what can you do? It's still early on.

Lyric dipped into the family's healthy funds to pick up a car. He hadn't ever bothered to buy one before with his limo service, but when Jersey started requesting to be taught to drive, he decided it was time.

Jersey was hoping for a top-of-the-line Margaret Vaguester, but he was happy regardless. It was a heck of a lot better than the sloppy jalopies he saw riding around sometimes.

Lyric was rather unphased teaching Jersey to drive. It was Jersey that put a stop to the first lesson after getting all stressed out. It's okay, there's plenty of time.

Jersey also gets along very well with his baby brother, Archer. He seems like he'll be a fantastic parent when the time comes.

He helped to teach Archer to talk...

And the whole room watches in awe as he changes diapers like a pro.

Pogo wished to become Jersey's BFF, so of course I let him.

I don't know if I can think of many cuter things than two teenage boys squealing like little girls over officially becoming best friends forever.

And soon enough, prom time came around for Pogo and Jersey. It went okay for both of them, but I think Pogo enjoyed it more. Pogo became Prom King and had a lot of great experiences. Jersey got in a bunch of fights and saw someone in the same outfit.

Pogo's luck streak was cut short after prom. He was just about to go to bed when he ran outside to see some sort of anomaly coming down from the sky. It was kind of like the northern lights, but it was like a column that touched the street...

The lights sucked Pogo up into a UFO and took him away. He came back the same night a few hours later feeling "probed" with an alien he decided he didn't like one bit.

Also, that same evening, Archer aged up!

He's not a bad looking kid at all. :)

Yeah, I didn't know they could be abducted, but apparently so because Pogo definitely was.

Archer is totally adorable. Does the blonde girl just have a generic townie face?

She kind of does, yeah. But it's a cute face. But we're also only in Jersey's teen years, so it's not an arranged marriage yet.

There she is closer up.

Haha, he does! After working on this project I forget sometimes that Mortimer is a child at on point  ;D

And thank you very much!

The parents are away on a free vacation, which means the kids rule!

Of course, that also means a party is in order.

All of the teen girls in the neighborhood were invited (and also the one teenage male I could find, but he didn't show up) including Frances Carney (who Jersey ended up with a crush on after the prom), Lucinda Grant (Jersey's current prospective partner) and Pogo's crush from the prom, Jana Pruett. Very early on in the party, Jersey tried to gently make it clear he wasn't interested in pursuing a relationship with Frances. She didn't respond well.

It's true, Jersey. A female truly is a terrifying thing.

Already friends with Lucinda, Jersey was brave and went right in for a heat of the moment kiss when she showed up. Unfortunately, she didn't like it and told him off (By the way, there's Janae in the back thinking about the tv Frances "accidentally" broke).

Always the charmer, he managed to smooth it over easily with an apology followed by some flowers and compliments.

Frances in the back: "Darn! The tv didn't throw him off track!"

The party was ended abruptly by the kids getting a message that the parents were coming home early. Everyone was rushed out of the house and everything was cleaned up. Lyric and Sandi were none the wiser, also thanks to Archer being put up as a distraction pawn.

"Wait, Dad! Don't go to bed yet, it's only midnight!  Let me show you what I learned in ballet after school!"

"Can I stop yet?"

No, never. >:3

Yes, Archer has become a dancing star. Just look at that trophy from his recital!

Ah, the good ol' teenage parties. Those are always fun. My teen threw one once, and her friends managed to break every single appliance in the house. She tried fixing one of them, only to be electrocuted. She couldn't take a shower because it was broken, but she couldn't fix it because her mood was sour thanks to being electrocuted. Ultimately, the parents came home to the house a mess, full of puddles, broken stuff, and a singed daughter.

And they never suspected a thing.  ::)

Well, here's a short update to get out of the way while I put things together to arrange bigger updates as our second heir approaches young adulthood.

Jersey's love notes seem to have made an impact and he was invited to go to Lucinda's house after school one day. That was the point I realized I didn't really bother to take much of a look at her home.

So we went and took a look, and it's not bad at all. I'll probably end up fixing it up a good bit because something about it looks really unfinished to me, but there's lots of space and a pool in the backyard. Lucinda has no siblings and lives with her parents, Elliott (unemployed) and Justina Grant. Justina is the new Cosignment Shop Specialist. Figures, right after Sandi became best friends with the previous one.

The window from the reading room Lucinda seems to favor has a nice view of the rolling hills and trees.

"Luuuucy, I'm home!"

On another note, Archer's teen birthday approached with Jersey and Pogo there to cheer him on.

Once he settled down he didn't look bad at all. Is that a put-together outfit right after a birthday?

Archer gained the Charismatic trait. Also, I'm honestly running out of inspiration for male clothing. Some girls need to fall into this family fast.

No, not quite...

In the end, I opted for some slightly preppy but chill clothing.

Not a bad looking fellow at all. :)

Is that the Langerak house? Also, that hairstyle works really well with Archer's face.

Yes, yes it is!
You're going to have to excuse me, I've been playing Sims 3 since 2009 yet I tend to be completely inept when identifying townie homes unless I have a cheat sheet right in front of me. I'm rather ashamed considering Zelda was one of the decadynasty founders. I've never really looked into the Langerak home before, that's all I can really say in my defense here.

Well, now that I've identified that fact, it's pretty cool that Jersey might end up moving into his grandmother's old home.
