CHAPTER FIFTY-TWOMargrethe decided to go home early, since she missed Gustav and had a huge amount of things to bring back to Riverview, including some Sculptor's Egg cuts to start a collection, metals, and, accidentally, the Collection Helper. There were a few choice words screamed at the computer when I realized what I had done, but at least I still had the Moodlet Manager in case of mummies.
Elisabeth decided to start doing some adventuring herself, and went to spar with a rather tough old woman.

Later on, she was given the task to go get some writings out of a tomb. She asked Tatiana for some help over lunch at the market, where Tatiana had been critiquing everything and harassing the shopkeepers all day.

They went back to Base Camp so Elisabeth could prepare herself and collect some stuff I had laying around, so Tatiana pulled out the family pictures of doom, grabbed some poor sap, and started boasting about Margrethe.

When they were ready, they travelled deep into the tomb, when Elisabeth promptly caught fire when they tried to set their tents up in an empty room.

Where was Tatiana when all of this was going down?
Being attacked by an angry cobra. Again.
Tatiana: HELP!

They managed to grab the artifacts and writings required, then barely managed to escape from the tomb alive. Unfortunately, there was a bug that wouldn't let me pick the snake-charming basket back up, so I was forced to abandon it in the pits of fire. I'll send Tatiana back to Egypt sometime soon to get a new one.
Elisabeth and Tatiana were so worn out from the tomb, they wanted to go home early. I took mercy and let them get back to their families with plenty of tales to tell.
When they safely arrived back home, I set up a new zen garden for anyone who wants to learn martial arts. It isn't very pretty right now, but I was tired at the time and didn't care. I'll add some nice flowers eventually, but for now it'll do.
Elisabeth was the first one out there, since the work she did on the board breaker in China didn't count for the "Power Measure" op. She quickly finished up, went to the Science Centre, and BOOM, five BlackOps done.

Before they left for China, Elisabeth was promoted to World-Renowned Surgeon, finishing up her lifetime wish and maxing her career. To celebrate, I bought her third and final unique lifetime reward, the Teleporter. I wanted to buy her the Age Freeze potion just so she could have a complete collection, but I accidentally clicked the teleporter instead. Oh well, at least now gem collecting is much easier now that they can teleport right to them.

There's a bit of the bug with Hogan's Deep Friend Diner. It isn't problematic since it can be very easily fixed, but it's distressing to sims. You see, sometimes when they finish a meal there, they materialize at the back of the restauraunt and can't escape. Poor Victoria got caught, so I had to reset her. She isn't the first rescue I've done and it most likely won't be the last.

Since Elisabeth maxed her career, my main focus now is getting the final skill challenge locked up. She has her six best friends (though one is already an elder and Elisabeth has quite a while to go), two of which are cars, The Pink Wonder and Jimmy's old convertible Chanelle, so they aren't going anywhere anytime soon. After she SuperMaxes logic, all that will be needed is her elder pieces. Tatiana was the absolute hardest, but its been smooth sailing since then.
Somehow, Victoria, who has no points in the logic skill, is part of the chess rank. At least now I don't have to fight to get people to come over with her!

Goodbye, fine dishwasher. You will be missed.

The next day, Elisabeth had to do a vaccination clinic at one of the parks.
SUCK IT UP, LADY, I'VE HURT WORSE!

I'm really blown away at just how stunning Margrethe looks. The purple and orange look is just something only she could pull off.

She has been working really hard toward becoming an Ice Personality. Everything she makes is incredibly beautiful.

The next morning was Sunday, and Elisabeth invited over her final chess opponent. After defeating this lady, Elisabeth became a Grand Master and SuperMaxed Logic! Hooray! We're just days away from reaching the halfway point of this dynasty, and I couldn't be more excited.

I've finally calmed down my panic from realizing just how full the house really is. I've decided that I'm going to wait until after Jimmy dies, Elisabeth becomes immortal, and Margrethe and Gustav are roughly halfway through the adult stage before I bring in the next generation. It's a bit frustrating because the nooboos have finally started to grow on me, and now I have to wait, but it's for the best. I probably should have thought more ahead so that I didn't end up in this situation, but oh well. At least Gustav looks rather nice.
At the end of the day, Margrethe picked up an inventing book to read and Elisabeth read some of her medical journals. The next morning would require an early morning.

Why the early morning? Why, it's Jimmy's birthday, of course!

Surrounded by his family, Jimmy blew out his birthday candle and became an elder.

And then the dishwasher broke again.

Then Gustav went and broke the bathroom sink.

After school, Margrethe sent away for a bunch of gems to be cut for the collection. It cost quite a bit of money, but the Royale's are currently sitting on roughly 950,000 simoleons, so it wasn't much of a dent.

After a late dessert, everybody went off to bed-
-oh, look who's here...

EEEEEEEYYYYYY, MACARENA!
