Imaginary friend did not age up with child
« on: August 23, 2013, 11:31:23 AM »
I received Generations as a birthday present on Wednesday (along with some money to purchase Lucky Palms and Sunlit Tides with) and my Simself's son Mark has just received one. However, his imaginary friend Buddy has not aged up alongside him when he became a child. Is this meant to be normal in game?

Imaginary friends do not always age up with the child. I have had imaginary friends who have aged up days after the child's birthday and ones that do not age up at all.
Did Mark spend a lot of time playing and singing to his doll?

He actually does play and sing with it autonomously, at least he did as a toddler.

Usually you get a message that Jelly Bean, Peanut or whatever the imaginary friend's name is wants to come out and play and to set it on the floor to see what happens. Seen anything like that yet?
