For some reason it has glitched, I can't see my cursor, but when I move my finger around the touch pad it is showing me all of the mountains and other scenery.

Have you quit the game using task manager? If so, when you reload, is your curser still gone? Another thing, try hitting the tab key. I had problems when one of my cats rub his face on the keyboard and this got it back to normal.

Definitely try hitting tab. This used to happen to me in TS2 a lot and it's the same command in this game.
