Would it be okay to use the cas.fulleditmode cheat to change the last name of the dynasty spouse? I'd like to keep the family name alive through the whole challenge.

Doesn't the game change the spouse family name for you when you get marry?

Welcome to our Forum, Songsmith.  To answer your question:

1) Master Chef Aspiration reward
2) Do the food dishes as your last heir requirement
3) Let it spoil.  Nothing in the rule says you can't store putrid food dishes as museum pieces.

Thanks! I forgot about the reward. My one chef in another game is only at level 7 or 8, so hasn't earned it yet. I figured if the food spoiled then the sims would constantly be queuing up to clean out the fridge/spoiled food.

"or bassinets aging up for babies" to General Rules and Restrictions.

Birthday cakes (or bassinets aging up for babies) can only be used on a Sim's actual birthday and only on members of your household.

No, the game doesn't change the last name of the spouse...they keep their own name.

So excited to see this, not so much to play it because they sound hectically difficult and I'm still learning the game, but I can't wait to see all the brilliant stories.

On that note: if I do decide to test my metal against one of Metro's awesome challenges, how on earth do you get your kid sims to get A's for the extra items? At best so far my child sim has had a B and that was with much work, they always seem so tired or tense or bored all the time!

I've found that if you focus on school reqiorements first, then focus on your aspiration after you've gotten your school stuff done that it's easier.  You get a lot more free time after you've gotten an A.  Also, the school grade isn't a requirement, its only if you want the bonus museum pieces.

As simfulicious said, the game does not allow changing the name of the spouse. The only way to do it is through the cheat.

Hi, i try my first dynasty and here is my first question: What value do meals from cooking skill and drinks from mixology skill have for the museum? Could it be these items don't have any value, at least i can't sell them? Or did i miss something?

Welcome to the forum, Chaotina. Not all items you submit to be included in the museum may have value - there are things in the game that have no value. That's ok. Just add up those items that do have some value.

Good luck with your first Dynasty :).

Have six Good Friends not in the household at the time of eating Ambrosia for the first time. Other Heirs can share these Good Friends except one needs to be a unique B.F.F (ask to be Best Friends).  Don’t worry if friendships deteriorate after Ambrosia has been eaten.

Just checking a clarification on something.  Say I move in the Spencer-Kim-Lewis household.  None of them can count as my founder's friends for the Ambrosia requirement?

Right. No household members can fulfill the friendship requirement.

I take it aging is supposed to be on for the challenge? It doesn't actually state that in the rules, but I just assumed...for the unplayed households?
