Problems after coming home
« on: June 08, 2016, 01:52:39 PM »
Hi,
I have a little problem with my sims 3 game. I have a family I have been playing on for some time. I decided to send one of my sims to university. Everything was ok, until she was going back. The sim gets to town (Bridgeport), but then she just freezes in place. The game goes on in the house, but I cannot change sim to play and the little faces on the left are gone.
I have been reading a bit on this forum on how to fix this, but none have worked. I tried moving the family out of the house, but it just starts loading, but never finishes (I waited for at least half an hour).
So, any tips to what I can do? I am a bit hesitant to go into my folders in My Documents as I have no idea what to look for and what to do.
Hope some one can help :)

The user interface missing after coming home from University is fairly common. See link below for help with that.

You had mentioned that you went through these troubleshooting tips linked below, but want to make sure we're on the same page. These tips are very detailed and should be easy enough to follow.

If you have a previous save, from just before traveling to University, maybe give that a try to see if it helps.
