Can't order from PC -solved

This may be a new glitch.  My Sims are currently living in the Old Salt House, (which is a dream for builders!), but since moving in they cannot order anything except Void Critters on their computer.  They can order books from the book case but nothing else from their computer.

What first comes to mind is the issue with the Landgraabs' home, since the game is treating that computer as if it's not in your sims' home.
Have you tried replacing it?
(Lol, you probably have, in which case, sorry for the unhelpful advice)

Thank you.  You were right it was just like the Landgraab stuff.  Once I replaced it with new everything worked just fine.

Here's my Old Salt House build.

first floor --- close and far view.




second floor --- close and far view.  I added a door to a bedroom, so that my Sims could go out on it.  I'm using this lot as a retirement home for up to 8 elders.  So far, 3 elders live in this house.

Very nice!  I love the concept of making a home for homeless elderly.  I see there are plenty of bathrooms too and a lot of skill/fun things to keep them occupied and happy.  Even a garden for them to grow things in.  Really great remodel.

Thanks a lot, @Joria !  I'm glad you like it!  Yeah, it has a lot of stuff for them to do.  I didn't place any fitness equipment or a pool, in case they get exhausted.  I'm up to 5 elders, now because of new npc's in managed worlds --- all of whom are now playable.
