Careers Guide (City Living)
« on: January 24, 2018, 06:50:45 PM »
Just now, I was looking at The Sims 4 Careers Guide.

Both "The Careers List" and the table comparing hourly, daily, and weekly wages, however, haven't been updated for City Living.
It would be great if the Critic, Politician, and Social Media careers could eventually be added to the list.
I thought I would try to help out a little with the comparative wage table, too.  :D

Critic/Art
$454/hr   5 hr/day   $2,270/day   3 days/week   $6,810/week

Critic/Food
$441/hr   5 hr/day   $2,205/day   4 days/week   $8,820/week

Politician/Charity Organizer
$342/hr   6 hr/day   $2,052/day  3 days/week   $6,156/week

Politician/Politician
$340/hr   7 hr/day   $2,380/day   4 days/week   $9,520/week

Social Media/Internet Celebrity
$540/hr  4 hr/day   $2,160/day   3 days/week   $6,480/week

Social Media/Public Relations
$453/hr  7 hr/day   $3,171/day    4 days/week  $12,684/week

Youre definitely not the only one whos noticed its missing. Ive been waiting for it to be updated with each expansion. Hopefully when they add the City Living stuff to the table, they also add the gardening careers from Seasons.

I got to add the Seasons update and got the careers list complete, just need to get the hourly added to that table. I've been on top of things in the past month but we were pretty out of date. Sometime around City Living I really lost my motivation as I wasn't enjoying the EPs very much.

Working on updating lately. When I feel like making content I do that, otherwise updates. I will do this one sometime this weekend.

This has been updated for Seasons and includes all missing careers.. I added a tiny WFH label to all of the added careers because they are extremely powerful if you have a money making skill and although they do not top the charts, it's very much worth pointing out you can collect the salary without losing control of the Sim.

I just realized this likely makes the Botanist the highest earning career due to the weekly wages being so high and the ability to do something else to make money. Rocking a garden, making $14k a week and doing some flower arrangements as a side gig.

@Carl
What awesome information, as usual, Carl!
My Gen5 legacy heir is about to start that career, so your news is great to hear.
Thanks so much for everything you do for us!!!! <3
