Family Tree
« on: February 23, 2018, 11:45:30 PM »
Just a question, I've found that doing the normal screenshot in sims by pressing 'C', it doesn't capture the Family Tree if you have it up on screen.

Does anyone have a way of capturing the family tree that works?

Oshizu just got me thinking about it as a way to help others understand my random dynasty should they want to know when I post up screenies from the game.

I use the print-screen capture on my pc and then use Paint or something to crop and save it. lol I really shouldn't be answering this as I've got the worst pc habits out there! There's probably a very easy and tidy way of doing this that hopefully someone will post.

Haha, I also use the Print-Screen feature on my PC to capture non-gameplay screenshots then edit the photo using a different app.

For family trees, though, I really like the Family Echo website. It's free to use and can be easily linked. Well, the problem is that you have to add all the portraits yourself.
So barring Family Echo, yeah, Print Screen is my friend, too.
