I love the beige, turquoise, and dark brown you chose for the exterior and interior of the house.
Oh noooo, triplets! But they are so lovely!
I had to go back to check on Ramon's toddler pics, and he also had the big eyes.

No wonder I didn't recognize Ramon's hairstyle. I've yet to play Get Famous.

Now I can't wait for the toddler play date, all the little cuties in their party outfits! :)

I’ll probably post the play date tomorrow. The triplets have just aged up, so if I post the play date and then up to the birthday I’ll be completely caught up. Now for the childhood/teen years slog!

Toddler Spam ahoy! We held a toddler play date with the triplets, Rafael, Ynez, and Ysabel. The party was also attended by Ramon’s brother, Kameron. Let’s party, toddlers!

I'm still trying to get back in the swing of things with this dynasty. Sorry for the lack of text, but photobucket doesn't want to let me see any of my pictures and I didn't have the energy to open the pics on my computer, then copy the link, and write text. Lazy, yes, but one does what one can. At this point, I'm mainly trying to rekindle some interest and not abandon the story altogether. I'm going to get the rest of my pics uploaded and hope that by tomorrow I can actually see them.

Well, when the kiddos are this cute, I think you can get away with no narration or dialogue  ;=)
Hoping you find the motivation to keep going as you've got a sweet family and I've love to see them make their way to the Hall of Fame  :=)

@reggikko
I think you just short-circuited my cuteness-control fuses. The toddlers are so very, very cute!
Your screenshots capture the toddlers with a variety of facial expressions and postures plus their outfits are adorable.
Ynez seems to have the same eye color as Papa Rafael. Are they light blue or gray?

I'm tossing you some blazing logs to fuel the fire of your enthusiasm, Watcher!

Ramon

Ramon: And so Blondielocks ran away as fast as she could.

Rafael: But why though?

Narrator: Still plagued by pears.

Rafael: But why though?

Narrator: Why, indeed, little guy. Why indeed.

Ramon: Shows off Level 10 fitness guns.

Ysabel and Ynez: Dancing fun!

Wiki: Time for a bath, Rafael.

Rafael: But why though?

Wiki:...

Ramon chooses the Marine Biologist branch of the conservationist career for reasons.

Ramon: Hmm. I wonder what this kelp fruit tastes like.

Ramon: Interesting. I’ve become a much better swimmer despite apparently not having a lower body.

A quick trip to the dresser and all is well.

Ramon: Now that I’m a merman, I have the ability to summon an azure dolphin. I named her Bluebell and we quickly became soulmates?!?! That’s totally not weird at all.

Completed Sulani treasure collection.

Ramon: The kids stay busy with homework, skilling, and scouts. Well, mostly Rafael stays busy because our Watcher is lazy and doesn’t care if the girls are high achievers.

Ramon: Of course, we also take time out for parties. We like inviting over our friends and extended family. They are pretty low-key affairs. Lazy Watcher, remember?

Ramon: Top of the career! Woo! Go me!

Ramon: Now that I’ve reached the top of my career, I can summon an albino dolphin! This is Snowdrop, my second non-human good friend.

Ramon: I’ve succeeded in restoring Mua Pel’am. It’s really beautiful and I love the sea turtles.

Ramon: What are you doing Rafael?

Rafael: I need to find that Blondielocks girl.

Ramon: But why though?

Rafael: Very funny, Dad.

Until next time!

Oh my goodness!!!  That is one adorable puppy!!!  I lost my Pippin puppy to a brain tumor in October, which was super heart-wrenching, so it's nice to see you having a sweet, happy, healthy bundle of puppy happiness :=)  Wishing nothing but joy and health to both of you.
Now about that update, the running "but why" gag was fantastic!  Glad you're re-discovering your enthusiasm for the family and the challenge and I hope the pear plague ends soon  ;=)

Thanks for the sympathy, and yes, it's still hard.  Still, totally worth the hardships of his loss to have had the beauty and joy of his presence.

I loved reading about Ramon and his life in Sulani with his beautiful family.
Wow, Ramon made such fast work of his career!
Thank you so much for sharing images of the rare dolphins!
Also adore the easygoing, casual style of the beach house.
By the way, will Ramon stay forever a merman or did he change back?
More importantly, did you enjoy playing a mermaid? :)

Your exchange with Pippin (the simmer, not your puppin in this case)  reminded me of my furry soulmate of 10 years, now gone, bringing  a huge lump to my throat.

@oshizu I had Ramon change back before Rafael moves out. I did enjoy it for the most part, especially for the dolphins which are among my favorite animals. The only downside was that one of Ramon’s work from home tasks involved scuba diving, which merfolk can’t do. With the kelp being so easy to get, he cured himself, did his work task, and then immediately ate the kelp again. All of that cost 1500 satisfaction points, but he had plenty of points so it was just a minor irritation. The merfolk increased swimming speed is awesome!

Sketchy update is sketchy, but here it is anyway. I am likely just going to do highlights from here on out to keep my momentum going. I really want to finish this and trying to come up with things to say gets me too bogged down.

Lots of excitement this week. First, we threw a rockin’ keg party. Then, we got a notification that Ramon’s conservation efforts have finally paid off. Sulani is fully restored!

Soon after, baby sea turtles began hatching.

Just a merman taking a bath. As one does.

Kids: We missed the keg party and the baby turtles? School sucks!

Hey, cheer up, guys. It’s your birthday!

Ynez and Ysabel. Yeah, I no longer remember which is which, but they’re spares so who cares? Amirite?

Rafael: I wish I could stay on Sulani and not move to stupid Newcrest!

Sorry, bud.

Flashback to an auspicious meeting.

Rafael: Hi. I’m gonna need a boyfriend in a couple of days and since your grandparents are dead now I figure you have lots of money. What do you say?
Rohan: Whoa, hold up there, little buddy. Let’s wait and see, okay?

Rafael: Time to invite over my intended.

Rafael: Thanks for helping with my homework and becoming my good friend.
Rohan: It feels like everything around here has an ulterior motive.
Rafael: The struggle is real, man.

Rafael: Here’s 5000 Simoleons. Will you be my boyfriend now?
Rohan: Hmm. I’m not sure I want to rush into anything.

(Seriously, Rohan was very difficult to woo. We’d make progress and then he would randomly reject a romantic gesture. I had to resort to the spa club trick as suggested by oshizu to raise their romance bar. Thanks!)

Young adulthood!

And Wiki is incubating our future play date guests!

Next up: Rafael and Rohan settle in Tranquil Crescent in Newcrest.

Ramon’s final stats:

Lot: Key Point, Sulani
Spouse: Wiki Tilo
Children: Rafael, Ynez, Ysabel

So glad to see you're going with this again!!
The "but they're just spares, amirite?" comment was just ridiculously delightfully...and mildly accurate  ;=)
The winning moment for me, though, was "here's $5000, will you be my boyfriend now?"  Yep the buy-a-beau approach for the win!!

Loved the shot of Ramon in the bathtub! And that Sulani house; I bet it qualified as a Tier 2 Tiny Home.
Also, you raised those triplets to YA without batting an eyelash! Not a single moan or complaint!
That spares comment! I don't even remember the last time I mentioned what traits my P10 spares aged up with....

Rohan might have been hard to woo, but he and Rafael were definitely meant to be.
I mean, look at their matching shirts!  :)

So happy that your P10 Dynasty lives on! Three cheers for your fifth generation!  Hip, hip, hurray!
