I just got my copy today and I am super excited about memories. I have noticed that everything I read about them is true. My sim moved into her new home and got her first job and they were both listed under memories! Share your experiences or unique or common memories here to compare with other simmers! ;D

I have an Eco-friendly Sim, her first memory was of going to the park which I thought was a little odd.  "I went to a park!"

I have also gotten memories for taking a skill class and learning a skill. It was pretty basic. I also notice it says 3/400 memories. I wonder if all you can have at once is 400 memories and then the older ones get erased?

I had my angling Sim go fishing and every time she caught a new goldfish it spammed through her getting perfects of every fish she's already gotten a perfect of.

This made me giggle! Oh my sim had another sim to try for baby with them and the memory said " Nick Alto thinks Vivian Alto would make a good mother and asked her to try for a baby! This will make many great memories!" LOL!!!

It will also record your first time and whether you woohooed with a celebrity or made friends with one. I thought it was funny that it said it was Nick Altos first woohoo..but he has a teenage daughter..wonder if Holly is really his kid. ???

Memories seems to be for every game whether you have Generations installed or not.  My Sim grew a perfect watermelon and it became a memorable occasion I guess.  My Generations is still in the bag, uninstalled.  Weird, huh?

Yep, there is a popup for everything, first day of school, first kiss, first woo hoo, etc.  I love the EP, but the popup's is what I could have done without, at least so many.  I do however, like the idea of memories and taking those snapshots, but even if your sim "plans outfit", that even pops up as a memory, lol.  It is a riot though. :)

You can turn off the popups in options. I did it almost right away because those popups felt like game spam on Facebook to me :D

I read in a few places that if you upload enough memories in Facebook or to your Sims 3 profile, then you would receive a free badge for your Sims 3 page and also a free gift.  Please note that one website said that you have to check your purchase history daily as you won't receive a message about them 

Here are the badges and a few of the free gifts.

That is nice! I will have to stat doing that! Yeah the pop ups are killing me too. It seems like EVERYTIME there would be like 5 in a row for soemthing, especially if you have multiple people in the household.

I'm quite scared now.

I think we should actually see the subject of the memory, not the Sim. Seeing the Sim would just provide for uncomfortable moments. Like this one.
