Fourth in the Four: Another Grim Dynasty

Reid - Oh.. this is amazing.  Are you in any pain?
Cara - Only in my back.
Reid - Then how about I take you downstairs and give you a really good massage.
Cara - You're so sweet Reid.
Reid - Look.  You know I'm not exactly a monogamous type guy but I was wondering..


Reid - Will you be my girlfriend?
Cara - *squeals excitedly* Of course I will!
Reid - Let's go get you that massage.
Cara - Actually I have to go home now but maybe later?
Reid - Of course.
When the wish popped up I couldn't deny the man.  Right after this Cara called back saying she'd given birth to a girl named Lorena. 


Addy - Big Red.. what are you doing?
Artie - I'm telling jokes to my best friends.
Addy - Riiiiight. 


Somewhere along the way, Luna Villareal went from not showing to having twins and they're already children so Reid decided to meet them.  Meet Amir (front) and Tatianna. The only twins to actually come from fertility massages combined with fertile sim.  Sadness.


Reid - Wow you guys are better at this than I am.
His Kids - *all concentrating*
Reid - How about a movie after this?
Amelia - That sounds great dad.. but you're almost out of lives.
Reid - That's why I want to watch a movie.


Robin - What's all this about Cas?
Cassie - Well.  There's some things I learned from Artie last night that I think you should know...


Robin - *pulls away* I'm not sure why you told me all that.
Cassie - I thought it would be obvious at this point as to why.
Robin - No, I need to hear you say it.  I need to know this isn't just you trying to play more games.
Cassie - No more games.  Just trying to enjoy the rest of my days without regret.
Robin - Okay..


Addy - Cassie!  Be careful!  You're going to kill him!
Robin - *is not complaining*


Robin - Marry me Cas.
Cassie - I.. Really?  After everything you still want to?
Robin - I have the ring don't I?  I'm down on one knee that I may not be able to get up from aren't i?
Cassie - Yes!  yes!
Robin - Good.. now help me up.


She rolled wish after wish to keep kissing him...Silly Cas.


Robin - I love you very much.  You sure you want to do this?
Cas - Of course I am.  If you are.
Robin - I've wanted to for a long time.  You're not getting out of this.


Robin - I'm going to remember this forever.
Cassie - For as long as this dynasty reigns.

Awww, I'm so glad Robin and Cass got together in the end. Cheers to Artie for helping orchestrate that!

He has another little girl with Cara who has the same eyebrows.  She's in a future update.  All of his kids man.  Reid has some seriously strong genes!

Artie would like to point out that he gets a lot of things right.  People are just slow to notice sometimes. 
I had a boy in the game with the long hair that had a unisex name too so I didn't realize it was a boy until he aged up to teen.  Craziness but at least the twins look a lot alike haha.

Awww! What a couple of updates, wow! So much happening! Love Reid to pieces ^^ Hm... guess I can't be mad at Artie too much anymore, darn it XD Glad to see Cassie happy now!

There's even more coming up but yeah.  And Artie excepts anger towards him as just a necessary thing.  He's hoping for a build up before people realize what he's done.

Yes there was joy and happiness and some really deep thought in the last couple but there is about to be some true sadness as well.  I've been avoiding the chapter which is why things have been coming out slow.     Though it's probably a good time to just rip off the bandaid.

Cassie - No.. I thought I'd have more time.
Reaper - Sorry sweetie.  I gave you as much time as I could. 
Cassie - I understand.


Artie - Oh.. Oh no. 
Reaper - Hm.  This was one happy Sim. 
Artie - We tried.
Cassie - I should have done more.
Artie - No.. it's not your fault.


Addy - Not your fault either.
Artie - Feels like it.
Addy - You gave him a place to live.  He got to see his son grow up almost into a man.  He did whatever he wanted when he wanted.  I'd say you did far more than anyone could have expected.
Artie - *half-hearted* Go away woman.


Reaper - Cass..
Cassie - What?
Reaper - Nevermind.
Simonis - Oh no Dad.


Simonis - Mom.. you going to be okay?
Cassie - Of course, sweetie.
Simonis - You sure.  I'm here for you.


Reaper - Still think you know who I am?
Artie - Of course I do.  You don't think I wore that hood for milennia and didn't learn how to see around it.
Reaper - You're so cute. 
Artie - You're not.  Why haven't you contacted Ares?


Reaper - There's no way I'm doing that.
Artie - You really don't want to see me angry these days do you?
Reaper - Hey you back off.  I don't see the big deal here.  Not like you're not breaking a few rules.
Artie - I can get away with it.. what you're doing is far worse.
Reaper - I don't know what you mean.
Artie - Contact Ares or next time..
Reaper - You can't do anything to me, red man.
Artie - Watch me.


Simonis - Mom just promise me one thing.
Cassie - *sniffs* What?
Simonis - Remember that dad wouldn't want you to spend the rest of your life in morning.
Cassie - I know.  I know.
Simonis - So I'm going to finish my homework and then we can do stuff right?
Cassie - Sure thing sweetheart.


Simonis - Okay good.
Cassie - Not sure how we managed to raise a boy like you in this house.


Addy - What are you doing?
Reaper - Old habits.
Addy - You should leave before he gets mad.  Also.. Ares knows how to find you.  You've been here too long.
Reaper - Good.  I won't have to chase him down.
Addy - Things are different this time.
Reaper - Doesn't look like it.


Addy - What's that?
Aria - Sadness lotion for the house.  Going to clone a few and pass them out.
Addy - A lotion.. for sadness?  Does it make them sad or..?
Aria - No silly.  It's supposed to relieve some of their sadness.
Addy - How does that work?
Aria - It's an herbal remedy.
Addy - And that's just supposed to explain it.  Okie dokie loki.


Addy - Like a true widowed scientist.  From crying to transforming eggs.
Cassie - It helps while I wait for Simonis to finish his homework.
Addy - Well you have fun with that.. no fires.
Cassie - I'll try not to.


Addy - Only you.
Cassie - I don't even know what this is.
Addy - An alien tombstone.
Cassie - Oh *laughs*  I guess even Dr Horrible is in a morbid mood.
Addy - Apparently.


Addy - Is that the sadness lotion?
Artie - Yeah Aria told me to come get some.
Addy - And you trust her to not have made something that turned you bright pink?
Artie - ... No but I just saw Simonis use one and I trust her not to turn him pink.
Addy - Ahh.


Addy - So.. how do you feel?
Artie - Eh.. not sure it's doing anything.
Addy - Clone like 6 more and see if that helps
Artie - If I can get the machine to work.
Addy - You are exceptionally bad at it.
Artie - Shush.


Cassie - Fancy meeting you here.
Simonis - You just asked me to teleport up here with you.
Cassie - It was a joke and this is the best place to look at the stars.
Simonis - I know Mom. 
Cassie - So come.. watch the stars with me until sunrise and we'll chat and have a good time just us.
Simonis - You just want me


Aria - You know you still owe me a talk.
Artie - I know but I get the feeling your mother has said stuff already.
Aria - Well yeah but that's beside the point.  Especially since I'm starting to have weird dreams and Addy said to talk to you.
Artie - Ahh yeah.  Maybe later tonight okay?
Aria - I'm going to hold you to that.
Artie - I know I know.


Just as everyone was getting home... tragedy struck again.


Artie - Hm.  Not the other reaper.
Addy - No?
Artie - That's my old buddy, Rube. 


Reuben - So it's true.
Artie - *sighs*  Yea,,
Reuben - I hope it's all worth it.
Artie - Of course it will be.
Reuben - Yeah well.. you're insane.


Ricanote: I got the notice for Robin about the time that him and Cas started hanging out by the fire.  Then I got Cassie's notice  a few hours after Robin passed.  She still had hours left on the Just married moodlet when the reaper took her.  She died happy.  And like a dunce I forgot to spend his aspiration points before he was gone.  Whoops.  Oh well.  It means Robin's stay was literally just for his own happiness.  The house has felt like a rotating reaper door actually.  If it's not reapers it's birthdays!  One weekend to have them all.. or something.  More coming!  Sorry to leave on a sad note

The boys didn't take the loss of Cass very well.  They've been crying it out together..
Addy - Boys.. you have to come out and eat and chat with people.
Alex - No we don't.
Simonis - I don't wanna.
Addy - I'm going to put your life books in the family inventory.
Alex - Why are you being so mean?
Addy - It's called tough love.. not meanness.


Addy - Ahh!
Melody - *jumps* What?!
Addy - Noth-nothing.. go back to your bath.
Apparently Melody is hoping that with a face like this her birthday and grim will stay far far away.


Addy - You guys look so sad.
Artie - Well Addy.. I kind of am and I'm sure Aria is too.
Aria - Yeah.  I feel so bad for Simonis right now.
Artie - *sigh*
Addy - C'mon Big Red.. time to toughen up again.
Artie - I know I know but it was Cass.
Aria - Again?  Toughen up?


Artie - I know this doesn't sound like the best idea at first but as you know I eat ambrosia every 10 days.  And when you get to elder if you're completed a few life goals.  You will too.
Aria - What did you put in my sandwich that you make a little sense?
Artie - Aria.  This is a dynasty.  Things are expected but a lot of things are expected from you.  And this means you'll outlive Simonis and Reid's children and Baby Margaret. 
Aria - I don't want to outlive all of them. And why should I live forever when no one else gets to?
Artie - I know it's tough.  And it's a lot to ask but if you search your soul you'll see that you agreed to do this before you were ever born.  Your half brother Ares came to you with his faux hawk and red skin and bad attitude and probably asked in the least sensitive way possible and then explained.  But eventually you said yes and came to join me as my daughter. 
Aria - A red man with a faux hawk?  Looks a lot like you?
Addy - Yeah it's weird how alike they've always been.
Artie - Yes.  That's my son, Ares with my third wife Christin.  Addy is our granddaughter.
Addy - Yep.  Are you sure you want to have this talk right now Aria?
Aria - No..  I'm gonna finish this, go get some lotion on and prep for work.  Last day you know.
Artie - I know and I'm so proud of you.
Aria - Thanks Daddy.

Later That Night..


Alex - I'm so glad that you guys could be here for my birthday.
Margaret - Happy Birthday Daddy!
Yuki - Of course we came over.  I'm sorry about your sister.  We were close.
Alex - I know.  I just wish you could have known her a little better Margaret.
Margaret - I got to talk with her a little bit last couple times of visited. 
Alex - Good.  Well I guess it's time to do this huh?
Yuki - Don't be scared, love.
Artie - *schemes*


Margaret - Hi Big Red.
Artie - And who told you to call me that?
Margaret - Aria says that's what your watcher calls you.
Artie - A very good friend started calling me that back in Sunset Valley.  Do you know why?
Margaret - Because you're red and old?
Artie - *chuckles* Not exactly but you may be too  young to explain completely.
Margaret - I'm almost a teenager.
Artie - Really?  That's amazing.


Alex - *groans*
Addy - I think your shoulders actually got wider when you got old.
Artie  - Better thank his hips.
Alex - My sister just died earlier. You can't make me laugh.
Addy - Oh but we will eventually.
Artie - No but I have an idea that might make you happy for a few days.
Alex - Oh?
Artie - C'mere.
Addy - Are you sure?
Artie - Absolutely.


Artie & Alex - So do you guys want to move in?
Yuki & Margaret - Do we want to move in?!  Of course we do!  *combined squeeling*
Addy - Ow. 
Yuki - Does this mean we can join Dynasty House?
Artie - Yes.  But remember I can still kick you out.  You'll just never be able to leave the house.
Yuki - What about Margaret when she grows up?
Artie - She will live with me until she dies.
Yuki - Hmm.. We'll still do it but there's some things you should know.


Addy - Whatcha lookin' at?
Margaret - The view over here is so much better than it was where we used to live.
Addy - Oh. Well it's getting late and I know your mom is busy working out details with your dad and Artie but maybe you should go in.
Margaret - Okay.  Do I have a bed here?
Addy - Absolutely.  It's a really nice one too.


Addy - Seriously?
Aria - What?
Addy - That is the saddest game of Blicbloc I've ever seen.
Yuki - You are kind of bringing the room down.
Aria - I just.. Maybe I should go to bed.
Addy - I'm thinking you need more lotion and maybe some time in front of a mirror or you could go water the plants with your tears. 
Aria - What?
Addy - It's really a thing.
Aria - Not much of a crier so I'm just going to go find something else.

Alex - I was trying to express my feelings.
Addy - You expressed something.  Now go get your woman and show her your bed.
Alex - Yeah that sounds good.
