Xbox Y button in build mode not always working...

Hello all...apologies if this has been discussed elsewhere...I'm finding that pressing the Y button in build mode doesn't always copy items, which is a bit frustrating...is it just me?

Doing a quick search on the issue doesn't bring up anything. You might consider reporting it as a bug at Answers HQ - https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/bd-p/The-Sims-4-Bugs to see if they have any suggestions or if it's indeed a bug.
