Fixer Upper Car

Hi, I just have a curious question. Does restoring the engine on this car increase it's value? I know only the body restored and not the engine being restored, it's quite valuable. Just wondering.

I don't know if you can get any more than what it can be sold for which is §39,000. when fully restored. But Sims can still work on it afterwards to increase handiness
Here's a blurb from Sims.Wikia.com:
One or two Sims can work on the car; one Sim can work on the body, while the other works on the engine. If the car is not being worked on, a Sim can rev the engine. After the car is fixed-up, it will be drivable and can be sold for §39,000. Even after the car is fully restored, a Sim can work on the engine to improve Handiness.

- Put it in family inventory or it will "magically" be fixed for you by other Sims visiting your lot.

That's kind of what I thought. My sim worked on the engine for quite a while and it didn't seem like any "progress" was being made. I'm doing a restoration challenge and this is their income.
