Game crash

So I just got the game and I'm playing away happily, when suddenly the screen freezes (I can hear the voices and sound effects continuing uninterrupted in the background) and it crashes to a white screen with a window that comes up saying windows is searching for the reason the sims 4 crashed...  :'( Does anyone have any advice I can try? It's depressing because I really like this game!

Hi Magpie2012,

It's been suggested to run the game in Windowed Mode and to clear your cache files.

Here's a topic that shows how to do those things, if you're not sure.
